The Oasis Initiative

The Oasis Initiative is a project targeted at improving health literacy on Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Nigeria.We hope to reduce premature mortality from NCDs through enlightenment and management. VISION To build a fort of health literacy on the NCDs in Nigeria MISSION To promote awareness of the NCDs in Nigeria through enlightenment, primary healthcare and in collaboration with the organized sectors nationally. OUR OBJECTIVES 1.Using the Primary health care approach,organise at least two community outreaches in a year to ensure screening and management. 2.Helping the masses reduce the risk factors associated with Non communicable diseases (NCDs) to reduce mortality and morbidity 3.Creating awareness by periodically enlightening the public on the various non communicable diseases through the social media and on-site to communities,schools and religious organizations.
