The Northbrook Symphony Orchestra seeks to inspire the present and nuture the future. It inspires the present by its unique concert presentation format and preconcert lectures that helps establish the relevance of the music performed to the listeners' lives. It nurtures the future by actively seeking to promulgate an appreciation of the art form to youth who, as the next generation, will ultimately become the trustees for one of Western Civilization's greatest contnributions to the history of mankind.
