The Natural Fibre

We are The Natural Fibre Company and Blacker Yarns, making the finest quality knitting and weaving yarns from British and regional breeds of wool, mohair and alpaca. We provide a commission processing service for fibre producers and trade businesses, spinning batches from 30kg to 1 tonne or more. We can work with small batches. As Blacker Yarns we make and sell our own brand of high quality knitting and crochet yarns, from specially chosen and hand sorted fibre - all from British sheep. We also publish knitting patterns, market gifts, scour and card fleece and much more. All our yarns are spun by The Natural Fibre Company under one roof in Cornwall, UK. We are unique, making both combed (worsted spun) and carded (woollen spun) yarns under the same roof and providing end to end processing services for our customers, thereby limiting our carbon footprint.
