The National Brewery Centre (formerly the Bass Museum) is a tourist attraction and museum in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. The centre celebrates the brewing heritage of Burton and features exhibits showcasing the history of brewing techniques offering daily guided tours as well as bespoke group tours. The centre also houses a bar and cafe, a history of the town, a collection of historic vehicles, a micro brewery and a shire horse collection.
Since 2010 the centre has established itself as a conference and event centre. Whether your requirements are for a quiet meeting place for a small gathering, for training rooms or conference facilities with breakout rooms, or even a major trade launch or exhibition, we can take care of your every need.
The listed Victorian buildings at The National Brewery Centre provide an impressive setting for any corporate function. This historic environment is perfectly complemented with a range of impressive modern function rooms, ranging from our small character rooms and Worthington Suite with its own bar and 100 plus capacity, up to our 300 plus capacity year-round marquee.
In addition to our corporate events we also offer a bespoke wedding service, ranging from large scale receptions to full civil ceremonies. Our experienced wedding organisers and catering team can deliver your perfect day to the most exacting requirements. This could even include a classic carriage drawn by our Shire horses or use of one of our vintage cars, if you wish to arrive in real style!
he National Brewery Centre is centrally located in Burton, close to the mainline rail station and offers plenty of free parking. Accommodation packages with local hotels can also be arranged at attractive rates.
