The National ADR Society is the umbrella body for all Alternative Dispute Resolution enthusiasts, ADR chapters, units and student associations across the various tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
NADRS came into existence in May, 2020 and our core objectives are to promote the awareness of ADR primarily in the Nigeria student community and across borders through strategic partnerships, create an ADR networking forum for student enthusiasts across Nigeria and across borders to connect, learn and grow in the ADR sphere, as it relates to their career path, through programs, projects, collaborations and partnerships both within and outside the Nigerian ADR space, in a bid to equip our growing community with requisite skill sets, experiences relevant for the 21st century job space.
As an umbrella organization, the society covers about 18 reputable campus ADR societies in tertiary institutions across the country.
We are passionate about the expansion of ADR in Nigeria student community, as we aim to assist and render support for the creation of more reputable ADR societies across the various tertiary institutions, both within and outside the law & non law student community; whilst providing a platform for effective networking & collective early professional growth.
We believe the change of the preconceived notions on the practicalities of ADR is a major step towards better development and growth of the space and we work at achieving this by providing tools and resources to students who aspire to pursue successful careers in ADR practice.
