In 2006, G. Frank Teas and several local business leaders were inspired to bring community banking back to Nashua. These individuals recognized the importance of local banks in our community and worked diligently to find other local professionals that shared their vision. On October 1st, 2007, The Nashua Bank opened its doors to provide banking solutions for small and medium sized businesses, consumers and professionals in the greater Nashua marketplace.
The Nashua Bank became well known in the Greater Nashua marketplace as THE community Bank, which made it attractive to New Hampshire Thriftbancshares, headquartered in Newport, NH, and holding company of Lake Sunapee Bank.
Recognizing the opportunities that the combination of Lake Sunapee Bank and The Nashua Bank provides, a merger of the two was realized on December 21, 2012. This opportunity expands our presence by providing a wider array of products and services, including greater lending limits and a larger emphasis on residential mortgages. Additionally, our customers will have many more locations for their banking needs.
We would like to invite you to stop in and meet our outstanding team of banking professionals. We will take the time to know and understand your banking needs and help you reach your financial goals.
