Nestled just 40 minutes South of Nashville is Columbia, TN. Not only is it the ancestral home to America's 11th President, James K. Polk, Columbia was once the mule-trading capital of the world -- earning it the nickname, Muletown.
The Mulehouse is being built next door to the Polk home, Presidential Museum & Library. The complex was a First Baptist Church that began in the late 1800's. The renovation is being built without excuse.
Clair Solutions (Radio City Music Hall, The Ryman, Blake Shelton's Ole Red, The Franklin Theater, to name a few) is being charged with designing and constructing the first ever music/concert venue with the streaming component as a primary focus.
Blair Garner will serve as the host of our Headliner, Icon, and Fan's choice series. The idea is an on-stage interview and performance: Imagine "Inside the Actor's Studio" mixed with "Austin City Limits". Blair's recognition for interviews has resulted in three Academy of Country Music awards, a Marconi Nomination, Three CMA Awards, and 11 Billboard Broadcast awards for National Radio Personality/Show of the year. He has also been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame, and the Country Radio Hall of Fame.
The venue will also host more traditional general admission concerts, stand-up comedians, and lectures.
The concept was in the design and refinement stage for nearly two years. Construction is slated to wrap early into 2021 with the first concert event happening in Spring 2021.
