Alan Dring, a well known Financial Services industry figure has launched a new consultancy company: The MAD Approach Limited. The company has a wide remit, utilising the wealth of experience Alan has gained throughout his career. The company’s proposition is aimed at assisting small to medium sized businesses realise their growth aspirations by enhancing their current talents. Main areas of focus include: strategic business planning, recruitment, training, debt counselling and advice, marketing and event management. Throughout his career, which included Head of Sales at Britannia Building Society and Standard Life Bank and latterly as Head of Sales at eConveyancer, Alan has achieved award winning success in all of these areas and is now looking to share his skills with companies that would benefit from an external perspective. Alan comments: “Just over 12 months ago I came to the decision that I was ready to ‘plough my own furrow’ and use the wide range of skills I have developed throughout my professional career. I have been quietly building the business model for the last 12 months and am now confident that I have a solid proposition and a good client base that I can continue to work with but now I have the infrastructure in place to ramp up the activity. I believe I have a reputation for ‘out of the box’ solutions based on a common sense approach and a positive attitude and I will be looking to work with clients of a similar disposition to enable them to achieve: bottom line growth, time saving efficiencies and satisfied customers that will return and refer. Specifically, I will work with clients on developing the findings of an in-depth SWOT analysis of their business and then to provide them with solutions that give them a competitive edge. 85% of small businesses do not plan, the 15% who do prosper.”
