About
The Integrate Movement (TIM) designs and delivers workshops for organisations that help society’s most excluded young people, helping them to better respond to a young person’s mental health needs.
Our mission is to equip frontline services to work together to understand young people’s mental health needs, and to respond to young people ‘where they are at’. Our approach is based on the INTEGRATE model, a practical way of delivering mental health services where and when young people need it, developed by our sibling organisation MAC-UK, young people and partners.
Our workshops
Our core set of workshops is a set of three ‘INTEGRATE frontline’ day-long workshops that help services better respond to young people by sharing the ‘Streetherapy’ approach. Frontline workers and their line managers embarking in this journey will join two workshops each – all together on the first day, and separately on the second day.
‘Streetherapy’ is an evolving collection of tools that enable helpful, responsive, flexible and therapeutic conversations between a young person and a worker that they trust, ensuring a young person gets the help they need through their first point of contact. ‘Streetherapy’ works best in places and environments ‘where young people are at’, making sure that it’s accessible and comfortable for those that might fear, mistrust or avoid traditional mental health settings.
