The IT Group Italia is a national consulting and remediation firm and has been a pioneer in the application of new technologies able to provide increasingly cost effective solutions for contaminated soil and groundwater. Since 1985 The IT Group Italia has conducted hundreds site investigations (Phase I & II Assessment) and comprehensive site remediation projects for oil refineries, oil terminals and gasoline stations, applying well-testes technologies (bioremediation, soil vapor extraction, bioventing, biosparging) and methods for oil control and recovery, groundwater containment. In 2003 The IT Group Italia founded Health, Safety, Environment and Loss Prevention Division and performed important activities in the field of petroleum refining and distribution, LPG, LNG, petrochemical plants, power plant, technical gas.
