For more than 30 years, The Governor's Prevention Partnership has empowered Connecticut families and strengthened communities through a public-private partnership to reduce the risk of substance abuse among our youth.
We act as a catalyst for change by connecting schools, parents and organizations with each other and with the resources they need to launch effective risk prevention and intervention strategies.
As the result of our work, the state has seen a drop in underage drinking rates, fewer youth in our criminal justice systems and a measurable growth in the number of mentoring programs and youth served.
