The Excelsior Group is a Twin Cities-based developer and steward for multifamily and commercial properties. We specialize in creating spaces that connect emotionally with residents and integrate synergistically with communities. We are a nimble company, driven by creativity and innovation, with more than 20 years of experience in developing, repositioning, and operating multifamily and commercial properties. The Excelsior Group was formed by Chris Culp, Kim Culp, and Ted Glasrud in 2005 as a multifamily management, development, and investment company. Over the next 15 years, the company evolved into a real estate platform supporting several business ventures including land development, brokerage services, commercial property management, homebuilder lending, and marketing and branding. In 2021, the majority of the business grown on The Excelsior Group's platform spun off or merged with other firms and are all now successful, independent real estate companies. The Excelsior Group today is an active development and asset management company, with a focus on multifamily and office assets.
