The Cornelius Arts Foundation is a charity committed to understanding (and expanding) the transformative power of art. We achieve this through research & development, focused on delivering lasting and pragmatic solutions to bridge art and people.
The Cornelius Arts Foundation’s vision is a world where the power of art is best released.
Our mission is to understand the interaction between art and people, with the view to enhance such links and disseminate best practices.
All categories of artistic expression are considered, from visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, installation, digital art…), performing arts (music, opera, dance, theatre…), literature, poetry, film, culinary arts, architecture to garden design…
The foundation’s strategy relies on establishing innovative associations across society. The purpose is to conduct programmes on research & development, with a focus on experimentation and multi-disciplinarity, so as to redefine problems outside of normal boundaries and reach solutions based on a new understanding of complex situations.
The charity stimulates opportunities for the exchange and advancement of ideas through a knowledge network, seminars, residencies, pilot projects, workshops…
Tangible initiatives derived from the research & development programme are channeled back to society using third party interfaces.
The Cornelius Arts Foundation is a UK non-profit organisation funded in 2011. It is a charity registered in England and Wales (Charity Number 1164716).
