The Cleveland Tontine

The Cleveland Tontine is a 5 AA Gold Star, 19th century coaching inn at the foot of the North York Moors. The stunning bistro with it's decorated ceiling serves lunch and dinner daily from a seasonal, locally sourced menu of classic dishes created by Head Chef Paul Bussey. The business traveller is well served with excellent mid-week, overnight rates and two ideal rooms for meetings and events whether large or small. There is ample parking and free wifi throughout. As a small venue, we are able to offer a truly bespoke package for your meeting or event and our location alongside the A19, equidistant between Newcastle and Leeds, makes us a perfect place for that inter-office meeting. The seven, individually designed bedrooms reflect the bohemian atmosphere for which the Tontine is well known. Antique and contemporary sit comfortably side by side; flat screen TVs alongside oriental tables, art deco lamps and vintage mirrors.
