For almost 30 years, the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society (CMind) supported institutional and personal transformation through contemplative practice. Our programs helped education professionals integrate contemplative practices into courses, services, and living/learning environments to support teaching, learning, and engaged action for a more just and compassionate society.
CMind closed to the public on September 1, 2022, following a May 2022 decision by the Board of Directors. Pending the necessary institutional approvals and the penultimate approval from the Office of the Attorney General in the State of Massachusetts, CMind's programs, including the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education and the Journal of Contemplative Inquiry, will continue with new institutional hosts.
