The Cashmere Mill

The Cashmere Mill has evolved over fifteen years out of our desire to input innovation and creative design into every transformation process for textiles. It is capable of conceptualising, designing, prototyping, manufacturing and supplying complete collections of fashion and lifestyle products. This rare competency has accrued a deep involvement and understanding of all transformation processes, from fibre to retail of branded luxury textile products. We source single-origin finest fibres of cashmere, silk, linen, wool and cotton. The process begins with washing, scouring and dehairing of cashmere fibres, worsted spinning (it is one of the very few dedicated cashmere worsted spinning mills in the world), knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing and confection. We are regularly spinning 100% pure cashmere in counts of up to 200 Nm and knit from 2.5 Gauge to up to 16 Gauge on flat knitting and 36 Gauge on circular knitting. We have several innovations to our credits for yarns and fabric constructions of both knitted and woven. Our fully integrated textile manufacturing facility is exclusively dedicated to producing high-end designed scarves, woven apparels and ready-to-wear. These products are created using luxury noble fibres like Cashmere, Wool, Bamboo, Modal, Silk as well as the finest natural fibres like European Linen and Supima Cotton from Peru. The evolution of this mill was propelled by the need to infuse design inputs into every stage of manufacturing. We selectively offer our yarns, knitwear, and fabrics as well as made-ups to many prestigious brands and department stores across the world. Our mill maintains the highest ethical and environmental compliance to international and is certified with WRAP. Our strict policy of controlling each process in-house and avoiding outsourcing, The Cashmere Mill is able to guarantee the highest standards of quality in its production.
