The Burnes Center for Social Change at Northeastern University designs practical solutions to society’s hardest problems. The Center is led by a growing team of accomplished changemakers focusing on improving governance, tackling climate change, advancing education outcomes, deepening labor and economic justice, and promoting better health. We believe that today’s challenges cannot be solved with yesterday’s toolkit, and that is why we work with communities and institutions to develop innovative, participatory, and equitable approaches to solving public problems using new technology.
