The Brehon Hotel and Spa, which opened in June 2004, is a superior and welcoming hotel where we blend the best of the old and the new under a banner that proclaims our heritage. The hotel is named after The Brehon Laws which governed ancient Ireland. Under Brehon law it was an obligation to offer hospitality to anyone who happened upon your dwelling place. So much more than an obligation, it was a privilege to offer a roof and sustenance, warmth and a welcome. The O’Donoghue family are proud to maintain this tradition today. The Brehon is a luxurious four star hotel. The classical detailing of Muckross House, Killarney, inspired the design of the exterior while each of the spacious guestrooms feature picturesque views and are designed specifically to ensure guests experience a pleasant and comfortable stay. This luxurious atmosphere is further enhanced by Anú Spa, where guests can avail of a choice of holistic non-clinical spa treatments and massages to refresh and revitalise the spirit, mind and physical being. Meetings & Conferences The Brehon offers four creatively designed meeting rooms where every event assumes a special distinction. The varying capacities allow you to select a room to best suit your requirements. Each room leads out to a relaxing lobby area with private dining options available for both lunch and dinner. The Brehon has a large function room, which can cater for conferences that range in size from 50-250 people.
