The Behavioral Science Collective aims to bring together academicians, practitioners, data scientists, students and individuals who are keen to share, learn and apply behavior science. It is a community that is kept alive through the sheer collaborative force of people who share similar interest and passion towards the subject and want to focus on topics that affect the global south, i.e. LATAM, India, Middle East, Africa Asia region. The forum aims to be kept alive by a continuous knowledge contribution from its members. It seeks to share content, conduct research, consult and seek consulting support on Behavioral Science and all that entails this growing domain - Psychology, Behavioural Economics, Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, Economics, Human-centered Design.
Why Global South - The world outside Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia is lesser served in the growing science of behavioral economics. It’s a region verdant with opportunity and inherent structural, cultural and social problems that require the combined energy and focus of practitioners and academics alike. This forum would start as a medium to get practitioners under one common umbrella to share ideas and connection and network with academics and practitioners. It aims to become a lobbying group that gets senior leaders in for-profit, not-for-profit/ government and private organizations to invest in Behavioural Science to tackle issues that impact the lives of people and organizations.
The nature of interactions and content on the forum is around ideas exchange, sharing theoretical and empirical research knowledge, a sounding board for ideas and concepts and a place to identify practitioners and experts in this region for further collaboration, research and consulting.
