That’s Contemporary is a non-profit organisation founded by Francesca Baglietto and Giulia Restifo in October 2011.
We deal with art and culture!
That’s Contemporary is the foremost online guide for contemporary art spaces in Milan, acting as a daily stop-off point for all of the latest information on exhibitions and events. We periodically publish interviews to artists, curators and creative people on the section Hideout. The art guide is also available in pocket form with That’s App, a mobile application for iOS and Android.
That’s Contemporary works under commission, designing and curating editorial products online and on paper, as well as producing events and displays in collaboration with artists, curators, graphic designers and software developers. We combine curatorial practice with a creative use of technology and communication.
That’s Contemporary won the European Design Award 2012 and the prize for culture and education App4Mi sponsored by the City of Milan and Corriere della Sera Foundation.
That’s Contemporary has received support by Lombardy Region and won the grant 'Funder 35' from Cariplo Foundation with the project Art In Network in partnership with The Blank.
