The Texas Camino Real District Export Council (TCRDEC) is a volunteer organization of international trade professionals serving 80 counties in Central and South Texas. It is part of the nationwide network of District Export Councils. DECs make significant contributions to America’s international competitiveness.
Working with U.S. Commercial Service Export Assistance Centers, the TCRDEC encourages and supports exports, particularly by small- and medium-sized enterprises, by providing education, community outreach, and trade policy advocacy related to international business and trade.
The TCRDEC works closely with national, state, and local partners; with the other Texas District Export Councils (North Texas, West Texas, and Houston); and with the National Association of District Export Councils (NADEC).
The TCRDEC was founded in 1994 as a branch of the North Texas DEC. It became a full DEC in 1999.
