TelkomVision, established in 7 May 1997 by consortium of 4 (four) companies of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (TELKOM), PT. Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI), PT. Telekomindo Primabhakti and PT. Datakom Asia, continuously grows in Indonesia Pay TV industry.
Align with current industry development and its new direction of business transformation to TIME (Telecommunication, Information, Media and Edutainment), TELKOM gradually increased its ownership in TelkomVision which as of 2011 has obtained 99.5% of ownership. The remaining 0.5% has been acquired by PT Multimedia Nusantara (METRA), one of TELKOM’s subsidiary.
TelkomVision is positioned as TELKOM’s vehicle in Media & Edutainment business as part of TIME business portfolio by developing TelkomVision with the latest program & innovation to align with the commitment to become the leading Pay TV operator in the Region.
