Diversified culture and penchant towards venturing into various cultural undertakings is what ensures an all-round learning experience and inspires the ability to go beyond and do work outside the box. The sense of camaraderie and togetherness in face of insurmountable feat is what we strive to develop and maintain here at the Cultural Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. Tehzeeb, as it is popularly known at Dr. RMLNLU, is a 4-year committee and boasts of a wide range of cultural events that inculcate the virtues of competition, service and loyalty and invoke a deep sense of companionship through them. Starting with Riwayat, the committee’s flagship event and the most grandeur of all inter-college cultural fests, here we witness the participation of a variety of varsities in all of Lucknow for it fetches unprecedented success every new year. Another one of the grand fests that Tehzeeb organizes is OHR, where people from across the batches of the university come together to compete in a variety of events like Inter Batch Music Competition / Inter Batch Dance Competition, Armageddon, Gala Night, alongside some filler events. Bharatotsav, which is a 3 day event starting from 15th august, where the esteemed VC of the university articulates a speech for all the students of the university on the occasion of Independence Day which is followed by music and dance competition and ends with the lovely cultural night , is another of the many events organized to bolster the sense of brotherhood and affinity among each other.Be it the celebration of an awe-inspiring fest or to pay our tributes to the country’s martyrs for their sacrifices, we do it all one of the finest example is Kargil Vijay Diwas Also, to celebrate the emotion of unity in diversity we leave no stone unturned to organize and revere festivities such as Diwali, Lohri, Christmas and Holi and make sure that students participate in everything with great zeal.
