About Us:
Technology Management Laurier (TML) is the premier business-technology organization at Wilfrid Laurier University. At TML we strive to engage and educate students on innovation and technology in the world of business. Our executive team continually strives to seek what is in the best interests for our students in order to keep them ahead of their competition upon graduation. TML hosts many events that not only help shape our students to become industry-ready professionals after their academic career, but also equip students with skills to dominate the business world.
TML was founded in 2012 (previously called E-Business Laurier) to answer the demand for a technology-oriented club at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. Following a successful first year, the organization decided to actively pursue the local Kitchener/Waterloo tech-startup scene, hardware corporations, and volunteer community involvement. With an influx of executives and general members, TML launched the TechSense Division (Originally known as EXACT), which is now our volunteer services program aimed at local technology businesses. With the ideals of helping foster innovation, Technology Management Laurier looks to step forward in a new direction and provide Laurier students with an opportunity to learn and engage in the corporate technology sector. The club’s rebranding efforts proved to be a bold testament to the club's original promise of delivering value to the students of Laurier in a prominent and concise way.
TML Mission:
Engage and educate students on innovation and technology in the world of business, through providing students with networking and educational opportunities with industry professionals and hands on experiences in our TechSense consulting division.
