Tawakol Metal Industries (TMI) was established as a foundry business in 1975, specialised in the production of high quality ductile and grey cast iron products. TMI products' range initially focused on assisting infrastructure requirements (pipe fittings, penstock and general engineering castings). With the growing demands of the construction, water and waste sector, TMI has diversified its portfolio to meet industry demands. TMI has managed to continually improve the quality of its products, thus earning itself a prestigious place in the foundry and construction business and becoming a trademark of high quality cast products. TMIs manhole covers, trench drains and grating products have earned the reputation of competing in quality and price with internationally acknowledged brands. TMI continues to develop new lines of products to cater the wide range of requirements for residential and commercial communities with products such as tree grates, fire hydrants, lamp posts, bollards, street signs and table bases.
