INDIGENOUS CONSULTING PRAXIS
Tatâga prides itself on utilizing mixed methodological approaches to better prepare organizations on their reconciliatory paths. Following the aggregation, codification, and knowledge bundling of shared informations and experiences, Tatâga invites Indigenous Elders, knowledge holders, content experts, and members of neighbouring communities to join in this consulting praxis. The culmination of this work leads to reports, presentations, recommendations, consulting sessions, and/or relationships with, by and for communities and clients.
RELATION-CENTRIC
Tatâga works with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, Elders, and Teachers to guide our principles of living and execution of work. Tatâga’s leadership and Indigenous subject matter experts have several unique experiences that differ from traditional consulting practices.
Tatâga’s Herd is made up of Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, Indigenous academically accredited content experts, and community members with lived experiences across Turtle Island, Denendeh, and Inuit Nunangat. Each Tatâga project draws on the collective experiences and offerings of the different members of our diverse Herd members.
