In 1986, Toño Tarín and Maricela Contreras meet at Noble & Asociados, a international agency that had opened their office in Nuevo León. Then, Toño, graphic designer, and Maricela, idea seller, decide to build their own firm.
In 1988, CARRIER, a brand with national presence, became the first key opportunity. We grew with them through eight years. That same year, the friends and partners took another step: to marry.
Sharing goals and the vision to become a national agency made helped us grew and collaborate with Azcúnaga, Cervecería Cuauhtémoc, Gruma, Farmacias Benavides, CEMEX, OXXO, HEB, Cedetel, Motorola, Telefónica Movistar, Tec de Monterrey, Sorteo Tec, Aerolitoral, Rayados de Monterrey, car distribuíos, hotel chains, restaurants, and in key moments such as the democratic change of Nuevo León with Fernando Canales Clariond Governor Campaign in 1997.
Through hard work, Tarín Contreras became the biggest communications agency in the north of Mexico. In 2000, we were affiliated with Ogilvy Global Network, a partnership that allowed us to grow our national and international vision as marketers and advertisers, and learn methodologies from them.
Proyects as La Ciudad de las Montañas, branding for Parque Fundidora, CEMEX 100 years, the building of Fuerza Civil, Nuevo Leon Police, Miguel Treviño’s campaign as an independent candidate, the re-branding of the Nuevo Leon State government, Consejo Cívico, CVNL and Mesa Metrópoli Monterrey are just some of what we have worked on through 32 years.
What really moves us is the art to discover talent, engage them and develop powerful, beautiful and creative communication strategies to build trust.
To give it, find it and recover it.
32 years of building trust.
