(The Company of Turkish-German Fruit Extracts). During 1950s, when the advance of the industry gained speed, the expected performance of ready-food production could not be achieved. Since modern production technologies were not available those days, Mehmet Sipahio?lu founded TAMEK with the technological cooperation of Germans. One year later, the Germans withdrew from partnership and TAMEK has been a 100% Turkish food producer in the market.
