Tallinn Health Care College

Tallinn Health Care College is situated in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and is one of the two health care colleges in Estonia. We are not a very big college, about 1900 student and 200 lectures and staff members, bu as our history goes back to 1940-ies, we have quite a long term experience in teaching health care specialities. Fields of study at the Tallinn Health Care College are: Professional Higher Education Nurse 3,5 years Midwife 4,5 years Assistant Pharmacist 3 years Dental Technician 3,5 years Optometrist 3,5 years Occupational Therapist 4 years Health Promotion Specialist 3 years Vocational Education Care Worker 2 years Emergency Medical Technician 1 year Academic mobility is vital to enhance competitiveness and contributes to building up a knowledge-based society where awareness of cultural diversity and traditions is an incentive, rather than an obstacle, to innovation and international cooperation. Our college has been participating in Erasmus, Nordplus, Leonardo da Vinci and Tempus programmes since 2002 and the numbers of incoming and outgoing students, teachers and staff members have been constantly growing. Internationalization and mobility play an important role in the development plan of our college and in the professional development of our students and staff.
