Tailwinds™ Distilling Company was founded in 2012 after many years of planning. A company that wanted something original & wanted to go against the "grain" in the American craft spirits industry. They are focused on returning America's first distilled spirit to the states with a truly American rum & forging the way with one of the first 100% Blue Agave Spirits distilled here in the United States. With a rich history of aviation in the Beall family, Tailwinds branding captures the American spirit & ingenuity that led man to reach for the sky yearning to go higher & faster. The company launched with their Taildragger™ brand of rums in 2012 winning multiple international awards and acclaim from rum enthusiasts alike. The second line of spirits from Tailwinds™ is their 100% Blue Agave Spirit distilled from Blue Agave imported from the Northern Hills of Guadalajara, Mexico.
