San Francisco-based Tacolicious Inc. sprang from the crazy desire to have it all: fun, affordable California-Mexican restaurants founded on integrity and community; service that’s considered but casual; spaces that are quirky but cool; and food that has finesse without fuss (or foam).
What started out as a little stand at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in 2009, Tacolicious has become the founding restaurant of our growing group and now has four locations (SF, Palo Alto, Los Angeles), plus Mosto our tequila and mezcal bar. A new Tacolicious counter-service spin-off will open in SF's Noe Valley in the fall of 2023.
Tacolicious takes its social responsibilities seriously. We’ve hung our hat on education and its betterment. In 2012, we started the Tacolicious School Project, which donated over $1 MILLION to neighboring public schools.
