TWT Academy of Aviation and Management is a unit of Trishna Welfare Trust, reg. no. 03945/2014 registered under Government of West Bengal. It has formed in the year of 2014 and involved in the various social activity, like helping down trodden people by offering them food, clothes, shelter, etc., we also receive several honor from different organizations. Keeping in social involvement and vast reach of TWT Academy in Kolkata and the Eastern Region, we have instituted a project which will help to generate employment in our region at the same time we can fulfill our dream for helping vast number of people. To further this aim of engaging the youth coming out of our schools and colleges in further education, skilling and training in aviation subjects, we have formed TWT Academy of Aviation and Management based in Kolkata In furtherance of our objectives to equip ourselves to establish a full fledged aviation training and management institute, to impart aviation training to aspiring young men in Kolkata, the following initial preparations and actions have been undertaken by TWT Academy: 1. We have tied up with Indian Institute of Drone (IID), Noida for starting the Drone pilot training and maintenance education here at Kolkata (first time in Eastern India). 2. We have been authorized by Asian Institute of Aviation of Philippines as an Eastern Indian Regional Center (first time in Eastern India). 3. We will be offering job oriented aviation related courses which is approved by Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC), Bangalore (first time in Eastern India). . 4. We have planned to introduce multi-engine simulator here at Kolkata (first time in Eastern India) which will help the trainee pilot to increase proficiency and flying hours. We are in the process of finalizing the same. 5. We have applied for the appropriate membership of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)-Train Air Program to conduct different refresher courses for existing aviation industry employee / fresher. 6. We are in the process of applying for IATA authorized Aviation Training Centre.
