TVU Garnvertrieb GmbH is a company based out of Leutershausen, Germany. We are a strong partner to many internationally renowned weaving mills, knitting factories and manufacturers of technical, medical and fashion textiles. Our origins date back to 1922, when the great-grandparents of the current company owners dyed yarns in simple vats in Sudetenland (in Asch, present-day Czech Republic). The TVU Group has done business under its current name since 1974, initially at its sites in Wuppertal and Leutershausen. Since 2008 we are only based in Leutershausen, both the production and administration. Besides trading with yarn, we have our own 2 brands: CompoPac and Tom Fyfe. CompoPac offers compostable nettings for fruits and vegetables and climbing aids for the agricultural sector. Under Tom Fyfe we produce merino wool garments and accessories. We are proud to produce in Europe under fair and ecological conditions.
