As a specialist AC and DC motor manufacturer we pride ourselves on being able to meet the unique demands of our customers in the shortest time possible, while still providing a high quality product in line with client’s requirements. The Motor Engineering Team is equipped with the latest in 3D modelling software and up-to-date international design methods and techniques. The Technical Team has more than 100 years’ worth of experience and knowledge in motor design, development and manufacturing to call on. The TVE complex houses all the main functions required for motor manufacturing including fabrication, machining, lamination stamping, motor winding, vacuum impregnation and assembly. This complex also includes a repair facility to cater for aftermarket requirements of customers. TVE produces close to 90% of all of its components in-house under strict quality control processes and procedures. The quality control of TVE is state-of-the-art, with 3D robotic scanning, measuring equipment and 100% quality inspections on all materials, components and finished products. To ensure quality is met when a motor is supplied, TVE also has its own testing and inspection facility capable of testing motors up to 1MW in size and 3.3kV in voltage. For international or country specific approvals, TVE has the resources and capabilities to organise and manage the complete process required for third party testing and audits for approvals such as IEC, ANZEx, ATEX, and MSHA.
