Tsamota is a United Kingdom-registered firm with project offices situated elsewhere in Europe and Asia. We offer bespoke consultancy services built around the ethical provision of specialised advice and the undertaking of operational as well as strategic tasks in support of companies, governmental agencies, IGOs, NGOs and individuals. Broadly speaking, Tsamota works in the fields of justice- and security-sector reform, principally in conflict and high-unstable security environments, for instance, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Recent projects have been funded by the European Union and the Governments of the United Kingdom and the United States - to name but three examples. An overview of the work of the company can be found on the company website.
The company was formed in 2006; since 2008, its operations have been overseen by Dr William Wiley, the sole Director of the firm. His work is supported in turn by an Advisory Group drawn largely from the ranks of persons expert in the fields Public International Law and Governance, including sub-fields such as rule of law and human rights. These experts have held senior management positions in, amongst other institutions, the United Nations system, the International Criminal Court, and European Union justice and police bodies
