TIOBE Software is a high-tech company that is completely specialized in measuring and monitoring software code quality. Software code quality is important now that software systems are getting more and more complex these days, while their liability increases. TIOBE has developed a standardized and automated way of measuring code quality by means of the TIOBE Quality Indicator. This is a measurement system consisting of 350+ software metrics, which maps onto the ISO standard 25010 about software quality. Our TIOBE Quality Lab, which performs our quality assessments, is officially evaluated in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by TÜViT. At the moment, TIOBE checks more than 8000 industrial software projects and more than 1 billion lines of code each day. We do this to make the world a safe, secure and smart place.
