At The Wedding Dresser, our mission is to take the stress out of dressing for your wedding or any big event. All of our fitters are highly trained designers who will work with you to find the perfect fit and guide you through any restyling or customizations you may desire. Our fitters are all professional designers who will make sure your dream dress does more than fit, it flatters! We can resize most samples or preowned wedding dresses up or down as much as eight inches. Whether it's adding more panels to your dress, or recommending a corset for a snug fit, we know all the tricks to make your gown fit like a dream! We also offer tailoring for the Groom and the rest of the Wedding Party. Established in 2008. The Wedding Dresser was founded by costume designer Susan Ruddie to provide expert alterations on wedding dresses and accessories. While growing these services, Susan created a new model for a bridal business - hiring experienced, talented artisans from theater and fashion whose fast, accurate work allows us to keep prices competitive and supports members of our staff pursuing their own passions and creative path. We love being a part of our clients' big day, and with over 10 years of wonderful memories in Brooklyn, we look forward to make every detail of your dress dazzling for your big day!
