TETAN GmbH is an innovative company that develops and builds customized special machines for the metal industry. Our company is located in St. Konrad in Upper Austria, this is where the development, design, project planning and assembly, piping, cabling, functional testing and pre-commissioning of the machines takes place. The Innovation Award - a competition that honors visions and ideas that have the potential to change the world. 2019 was a special year because a small company from Upper Austria managed to impress the jury with their vision. TETAN GmbH won the prize in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises category for its project "New bending process for the manufacture of metallic pipes". The new process, called S F F S (Shear-Force-Free-Rightening), revolutionizes the way metal tubes and rods are produced. It works precisely and without compromising on surface quality. Compared to established technologies, it offers greater flexibility and lower costs. It's always amazing what a vision and hard work can do. TETAN GmbH has proven that innovation is not just a buzzword, but that it can also be put into practice. We are excited to see what visions and ideas the future will bring.
