Textile with Ethical Sustainability and Solidarity (TESS) is a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) created in 2016 with the vision that social and solidarity-based economy should be the major player in the recovery of all textiles, household linen, shoes and clothing accessories of household origin, used or unused.
With a global flow of 72,000 tonnes per year, and thanks to the diversity of the geographical origin of its members, TESS is a key player in developing collaboration and expertise between its members and through its network, both at the technical level and in terms of supporting the development of public policies.
In a dynamic of partnership building, TESS is now more than ever committed to actively contribute to the important current initiatives of normative renewal that concern the circular economy at the EU level, and to continue its work to ensure the ethical use of donations (notably through the development of auditing of private clients outside of Europe and the co-development, again overseas, of new social enterprises aiming at a large impact).
