Since 1971, TEKNIC has made quality products in the controlgear range and are the leaders in this field in India. Started manufacturing push buttons/pilot lights since 1980. The complete range has international approvals UL, CSA, VDE, IEC, etc. In the late eighties, TEKNIC started manufacturing aluminum/plastic enclosures. All these enclosures are dust and moisture tight and conform to IP 65 level of protection. As regards enclosures for elevators, TEKNIC supplied the first pit switch to OTIS in 2000. Since then TEKNIC is supplying these switches to various companies in INDIA e.g. OTIS, KONE, THYSSENKRUPP, SCHINDLER, FUJITECH etc. In 2011, after a rigorous testing by SCHINDLER Locarno, TEKNIC started to supply to SCHINDLER and continues to supply different type of enclosures till today. MANUFACTURING ACTIVITY : Having developed an in-house expertise in processing of engineering components and Control & Signalling Devices, we decided in 1989, to enter into the field of electromechanical products. At Teknic Electromeconics Private Limited, Bangalore, we manufacture electro-mechanical devices, such as Circuit Breakers for Equipment (CBE), Micro Switches, Rocker Switches, Slide Switches, and Terminals for application in all kinds of Electrical and Electronic Circuits. We also manufacture a number of customer specific products for appliances. In all our manufacturing activities at Mumbai, Goa and Bangalore, we employ in all approximately 600 persons and have an annual turnover of around Rs.750 million.
