In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxUniversityofMississippi is unique in that it is organized almost entirely by undergraduate students, and is designed to feature students and other members of the community with a diverse range of ideas and topics.
In 2015, The University of Mississippi hosted its first TEDx event at the Gertrude Ford Center for the Performing Arts. As an R-1 research institute and Mississippi’s flagship university, we believe it is our duty to promote and disseminate the best ideas to the biggest possible audience.
