About TEDx, x=independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. TEDx is a grassroots initiative crafted in the spirit of TED's overall mission to share ideas worth spreading. These events bring together a passionate, diverse group of speakers whose presentations spark important conversations in their community. TEDxAnchorage is landing at the Loussac Library on November 6th, 2021. Our team of dedicated volunteers are confident this event will be one to remember, unlike any our state has seen in the past. But as any Alaskan knows—it takes a village. We're seeking community partners to help bring our vision to life: an entertaining evening of powerful stories, quality networking opportunities, and positive change.
