Tedx At North Park University

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks on an array of topics. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx North Park University, where x = independently organized TED event. The theme of TEDx North Park University is Shifting Paradigms defined as a change from one way of thinking to another; a sort of metamorphosis. This theme provides a broad topic base that can encompass a range of ideas and perspectives across disciplines and industries— from humanities to science to business to local and global issues. We are enthused to formally announce the inaugural TEDx North Park University which will be held on May 3, 2017 at North Park University
