Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on internationally-recognized learning standards developed by the U.S. State Department Office of Overseas Schools and other research-based educational organizations. Our pre-kindergarten program uses HighScope, an early childhood curriculum developed in the U.S. Our K-12 academic program incorporates learning standards from American Education Reaches Out, Next Generation Science Standards, and International Society for Technology in Education.
High school students may choose from a range of AP (Advanced Placement) courses that earn university credit in most cases. Students also receive Chinese language instruction and middle and high school students may also take Spanish language classes. All K-12 students receive instruction in technology use, health and physical education, music and visual arts and upper-level students participate in an experimental Week Without Walls.
