TEAL Electronics was founded in 1985 as a manufacturer of isolation transformer based power-conditioning equipment. TEAL serves the unique needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with custom power subsystem designs. Outsourcing non-core technologies, such as power-management, to TEAL allows our OEM customers to focus on their main product and avoid dedicating resources to power management, enabling them to quickly react to the constantly changing market. In 1995 TEAL became a subsidiary of SL Industries, Inc.
