Syria Film Festival

The festival was founded in 2015 as a non-profit organization by a group of activists drawn together by their sense of responsibility as Syrian and Palestinian Canadians to spread the word about the struggle of the people of Syria. Our mission is to build bridges, inspire conversation, and engage audiences in thoughtful debates on social justice, human rights, and global citizenship. We seek to support young talent in film and art and enrich Toronto's vibrant multicultural identity.
