Swarnalekha Works was started in 1962 by an entrepreneur G. C. Paul. In 1992, Thirty years after founding the company, G. C. Paul stepped down and handed over the business to his son, Subrata Paul. The company has a goodwill of more than 55 years and its main dealings were with most of the reputed brands in writing instrument industry. Now the company started its own brand "Swarnalekha" and decided to step out in both Wholesale and Retail market with its extraordinary quality of writing. Each "Swarnalekha" refill is produced with Tungsten Carbide tips & Fluid base permanent ink which give the ultimate satisfaction of writing. Today the company has a production capacity of 10 crore piece Ball Pen Refills & Ball Pen per year. Each refill is tested to be leak-proof along with a superior air pressure regulating system, which ensures perfect smoothness till the last letter of writing.
