Sutton International is a designer and manufacturer of rotary kiln, calciner, cooler, and dryer sealing systems that are custom built for the equipment on which they will be installed. Our customers are typically larger corporations that process cement, limestone, animal feeds, aggregate, wood pellets/biomass, activated carbon, fertilizers, and waste just to name a few industries. Our seal products are unique, yet simple in design which allows customers to retrofit one of our sealing systems with minimal impact on their budget and equipment configuration. We have seal products of varying configurations and material builds that are fit for purpose. Customers (lime plants) are reporting 6+ years of service life with currently installed seals, which is over double the service life expectancy of our closest competitor. Being a small company with low overhead, Sutton International is responsive and flexible to cater to our customer’s needs with a personal touch. We typically respond to customer inquiries within a matter of hours and can ship products within days of receiving an order. Low overhead also allows us to keep prices lower than the larger OEM’s and other competitors. Our consultative selling approach is one that gets to know the customer and their issues on a personal level. Asking questions and guiding the conversation such that everyone arrives at the same conclusion together invokes trust with the customer which makes closing the sale easier. These traits give us a powerful competitive advantage in the niche kiln seal market.
