Sussex Energy

The Sussex Energy Group (SEG) is an interdisciplinary group of energy policy research based at the University of Sussex Business School. We produce world-leading research addressing energy policy’s grand challenges. We are one of the world’s largest groups of energy policy researchers, and have wide-ranging and ever-evolving research interests. Right now, much of our research addresses policy questions like: What’s the best path to reaching net zero by 2050? What is the role of digital technologies in our future energy systems? How should we tackle energy poverty? How do we manage the energy transition, and minimise its disruptions, especially to the most vulnerable?
