Survive First Aid is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 40764) committed to providing high quality relevant first aid training throughout Australia. With courses aligned to National Units of Competency successful completion awards participants statements of attainment with relevant units of competency achieved. Also aligned to relevant Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, a team of paramedics (who form our medical advisory team), ensure the training is both relevant and current within the area of First Aid.
Courses are delivered using a combination of Audio Visual sessions and Practical Scenario’s, with participants assessed by completing a multiple choice exam, demonstrating their skills and knowledge in a range of scenarios, and through the submission of written incident forms. These assessment are ongoing throughout the course and allow participants multiple opportunities for completion.
Survive First Aid is exceptionally proud of its ‘Team of Staff’ who are the face of our company, and with whom the success of our Training is dependent. As such we only select staff who have all worked, travelled and played extensively in the outdoors with relevant experience within the area’s of first aid and emergency response. All of our staff have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (TAE40110) and are committed to providing a great learning environment that takes into account adult learning principles. The background of our staff and trainers enables us to specialise in First aid training solutions for Schools, Specialised Industries and the Outdoor Adventure/Recreation/Education sector, focusing in Wilderness and Remote Area First Aid.
